磅蛋糕 Pound Cake


磅蛋糕, 
一份甜蜜(糖), 一份愛情(奶油), 還有一份的永恆(麵粉). 
一比一比一, 你儂我儂 此愛永不變

Pound Cake
A pound of Sugar, A pound of Butter and A pound of Flour
An one to one ratio recipe.


食譜:

蛋液組
3顆
牛奶45g
香草精1 tsp
麵粉組
麵粉150g
泡打粉1tsp
鹽巴1 tsp
甜蜜組
150g
奶油150g


---------------------
做法: 烤箱預熱175度C

1. 把蛋, 牛奶還有香草精一起混合均勻
2. 麵粉, 泡打粉還有鹽巴一起過篩
3. 糖跟奶油用 KitchenAid Paddle 打到顏色變淺
4. (1)+(3) 混合好後加 (2)
5. 烤箱烤約25-30分

6. 裝飾: 
用糖漬檸檬條裝飾後加上紅醋栗, 
放薄荷葉, 用草梗做圈圈的樣子 (插入蛋糕內) 
最後用金箔畫龍點睛

*也可以用糖霜裝飾
** 150g的糖會有點多, 可以減半 :)



Yes, I know, it's almost summer....but pound cakes are too good to give up.
Maybe I'll run a few more laps to burn off those calories instead.

As all of you know, it's a pound of sugar, a pound of butter and a pound of flour.
(sounds like carbs and fat, indeed!!)

what I have is a little recipe that makes you less guilty

Pound cake recipe:

3 eggs
45g  milk
1tsp vanilla extract

150g flour
1tsp baking powder
1tsp salt

150g butter
75g   sugar (yes I've cut the sugar in half!!!!)

Is that still a pound cake? or should I call it a semi-pound cake? hmm oh well...it definitely looks like one to me.hahaa

1. beat eggs, milk and vanilla extract together
2. sift flour, baking powder and salt together
3. use your KitchenAid paddle attachment, blend butter until soft then add in sugar
4. (3)+(1) then (2)
5. oven at 175 degrees celsius for 25-30 min.
